School Clubs

'Life in all its Fullness' John 10:0

Our schools have an outstanding reputation for the wide range of activities available to our pupils, either at lunchtimes or after school. The clubs on offer in each school vary from term to term and include Band, Sing club, Rugby, Board games, Cycling, Sports, Art, Tennis, Dance, Running, Meditation and Yoga.

Our sports teams achieve regular success in local competitions, including football, rugby, cricket, cycling, swimming, crown green bowling, rounders and athletics.

Our singing groups and band have performed in the Save the Children Concert at the Royal Hall, Harrogate, at our school fairs and in church services throughout the year. In 2019 and 2020 our children will be joining hundreds of other schools at the Young Voices concert at Sheffield Arena.

We encourage all families to walk or cycle to school and offer road safety education to all and a cycle training course to Year 5 and 6 children.

Many clubs are run on a voluntary basis by staff and parents and may change half termly. We are fortunate that the community wants to get involved in our schools to enhance the curriculum we are able to offer.

We have close links with clubs and organisations in and around Pateley Bridge. Many of our children play football for Pateley Badgers, Rugby for Wharfedale, take part in Rainbows, Scouts and Brownies, swim, partake in park runs and much more. We celebrate success both in school and out of school during our sharing collective worships on Fridays. All children enjoy taking pride in everyone's achievements and successes.
