Pupil Premium Funding
What is Pupil Premium funding?
Schools receive pupil premium funding for every pupil that is currently in receipt of free school meals and for every pupil who has historically received free school meals (£1,320 per pupil).
Pupil premium funding is also allocated to children in care and children adopted from care (£1,900 per pupil) and children of services personnel (£300).
How do we use our funding?
Our schools seek to ensure the effectiveness of its use of the Pupil Premium by using educational research such as the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF). We are also part of the North Yorkshire 'Achievement Unlocked' strategy group to improve outcomes for pupils in receipt of pupil premium.
Over time, our Pupil Premium strategies have had a positive impact on:-
- Participation in after school clubs, residential trips, school trips, sport and music
- Ability to complete homework with support from school staff
- Progress and outcomes for individual pupils
- Raised self-esteem and parental involvement in learning for some individuals
Please take time to read our pupil premium strategy.
The pupil premium strategy for Fountains Earth is not published as there are 5 or fewer pupils. This protects the privacy of individuals in receipt of pupil premium.
