SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)
Church of England Schools are inspected through the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) framework. Both schools were judged to be 'good' during their most recent inspection.
‘A strong focus on the needs of each individual child within an inclusive Christian community, fosters self-belief and results in outstanding achievement.’
‘Pupils flourish as confident, independent and successful learners in a warm and caring environment, underpinned by Christian values.’
"The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection..." And the newly appointed headteacher "...quickly established yourself as a strong figurehead, bringing clear purpose and direction to the school." Ofsted 2017
St Cuthbert's was inspected October 2017. St Cuthbert's was previously graded as 'good', the one day inspection confirms that this is still the case. The letter below outlines the findings.
