St Cuthbert's and Fountains produce a newsletter every two weeks. These newsletters are published here and copies sent home with children. We will also flag new St Cuthbert's newsletters on the St Cuthbert's only Facebook page.

Newsletters include an update on weekly activities and a list of important term dates.

  • Friday 22 March 2019 Fountains Earth Newsletter 22nd March 2019 Great News! Oscar has a new baby brother – Samuel Edward Harker-Jones, who was born on Thursday morning, 8lb and 5oz. Baby and Mummy are doing well.
  • Friday 22 March 2019 St Cuthberts Newsletter 22nd March 2019 The Easter Service will take place on Thursday 11th April at 2pm, St Cuthbert’s Church - all families are welcome. There will be the usual competitions—make/decorate an Easter bonnet for KS1 and decorate a hard boiled egg for KS2.
  • Sunday 10 March 2019 Fountains Earth Newsletter 8th March 2019 All families are invited to the Mother’s Day Service at Ramsgill Church, 31st March at 10am. Eileen Bain will be there and refreshments will be served following the service.

  • Friday 23 November 2018 Fountains Earth School Newsletter 23rd November 2018 On Tuesday 12th November, the School Council led an assembly about Fairtrade. They used chocolate as their focus and explained the advantages of being a Fairtrade farmer . All of Class 2 then made flapjack for the whole school! Yummy!

The children led the service extremely well with their acting, singing and poetry recitals!

  • Sunday 7 October 2018 Fountains Earth School Newsletter 5th October 2018 On Friday last week Andy Clover visited the children from both schools for an afternoon of fun and storytelling. Andy was visiting the area as part of the Broughton Hall Literature Festival and we were one of the schools lucky enough to receive a free visit! Andy left some of his books for the children to purchase at ?7.

She was shortlisted for the Yorkshire and Humberside area and went to receive her certificate at an awards evening in Leeds.
