Charities

At the Federation of Fountains Earth and St Cuthbert's CE Primary Schools we support a number of charities.

Our grand fundraising total, at St Cuthbert's, for the last academic year (2017/ 2018) was £1648.76!  Well done everyone.

Speak Out, Stay Safe (NSPCC)

On Thursday 20th September, the children at Fountains Earth raised £53 by having a non-uniform day. This will help to support the NSPCC to provide a free programme for primary schools that equips children with the knowledge they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.

Sports Relief and Comic Relief

St Cuthbert's raised £93 running around the showground in Pateley Bridge and Fountains Earth raised £53 with the School Council organising a "Sportathon".

Harrogate Homeless Project

An independent charity that was founded by Harrogate Churches Together in 1991 in order to try and alleviate the growing number of people sleeping rough in the district. Donations from the harvest festival went to Harrogate Homeless Project Ltd.

This £43 will help with the servies of the Hostel, No Second Night Out and the day centre Springboard.

Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

Link to Hope is a Christian Charity rebuilding Lives & Communities in Eastern Europe through Education and Social Care since 1991.

Our Support for the Christmas Shoe Box Appeal charity has meant that nearly 100 shoe boxes have made it to Eastern Europe for families and the elderly in time for Christmas annually.

Yorkshire Cancer Research

Helping people in and around Yorkshire avoid, survive and cope with cancer.

Our annual Christmas Carol service collection generated £93.05.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance

An independent charity providing a life saving rapid response emergency service to over 5 million people across Yorkshire.

We collected £25 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance  at the leavers service.

Harrogate Homeless Project

Poppy Appeal

The Poppy Appeal is the Royal British Legion's biggest fundraising campaign held every year in November, the period of Remembrance.

Poppy and wristband sales within school raised £112.22 for the Poppy Appeal.

Children in Need

BBC Children in Need awards grants each year to organisations supporting disadvantaged children and young people in the UK

The countryside ramble at both schools raised in excess of £1500 for Children in Need November 2017 .
